Day 237

It only takes one moment to turn a bad day into a good one – that’s what I learned today 🙂

It’s 9: 02 PM on day 237 of my journey towards independence and I’ve managed to brush my teeth, feed myself a banana for breakfast, watch TV, feed myself a KFC Creame Chesse & Sweet Chilli Twister – a wrap consisting of chicken strips, salad and sauce – for lunch, watch some more TV, feed myself a banana for dinner, tweet about my Clean Water For All Campaign – it’s been 11 days since my last donation – I keep count – and I can’t help being a ted bit in awe of my own perseverance because I know that most people in my situation would have said I give up I have my own problems to deal with but not me I’m like a cockroach I keep coming back LOL 🙂 –  and brush my teeth once more.

As you know I am generally a happy person but today I was having an awful day until I stumbled onto a cute video about animals on Facebook. Take a look:

Are we connecting on Twitter? If not, say hi at http://www.twitter.com/nisha360

if you’ve given to my cause or you can’t give now, please help me by sharing my cause with others. You can tweet about it like my friend Stan Faryna. This is the tweet he uses: @Nisha360 is a brave, smart young woman trying to make a better world for us all. Please help her do an amazing thing. http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/nisha-varghese/nishavarghese

Stan’s very sweet for saying so, but feel free to write what reflects you best.

Thanks to all my friends out there who are helping me make my dream come true: to make a better world for all of us!

  1. What a great thing to learn Nisha – and to be reminded of. Reading your blog on any day has a way of reminding me of that. Thank you for being such an inspiration, for your courage in sharing your journey with us, and for your leadership in standing for others to have what so many of us take for granted.

    • Aww…. thanks Susan you are very kind truth-be-told I don’t see myself as an inspiration I’m just a girl who looks to change the world through everything she does 🙂

      Yours truly,
      Nisha
